10 Years of MBE in Austria!
Ten years have passed since Austria opened its first franchise store! In 2006, Dieter Baier acquired the Area Franchise and took over all rights and duties related to the business in the country, which was already defined as one Area. There are 35 MBE stores operating in Austria right now, two more opened in October, and some of them are multi-franchises consisting of up to three stores. Austria has a population of about 8.3 million on an area of 83.871 km² and the development plan foresees a total number of 50 to 60 stores. 18 of the existing stores are located in Vienna, Austria’s capital city, and other 6 in its immediate surroundings.
To celebrate ten years in the business, MBE Austria organized a great event. Its goal was to strengthen customer relationships, so each franchisee had the opportunity to invite his best customers to take part in the event. Nearly 300 people gathered in Vienna‘s beautiful Savoyen Hotel on September 30. Local franchisees and customers joined the event together with the management team of MBE Deutschland GmbH and other guests working for strategic partners.
The whole event was very well organized and the entertainment was excellent. The singer Louie Austen, a famous Austrian comedian and a comedy duo performing sketches on MBE‘s main profit centers gave a great performance making it an enjoyable, all around fun evening. The event was a success especially in terms of orders that customers placed during the evening!
